Enel Cuore, the Enel Group’s charitable organisation, has sprung into action alongside the Abruzzo regional administration to provide support to the institutions and organisations tackling the emergency caused by the spread of the COVID-19 virus. In particular, a donation is to be used to purchase the personal protective equipment and supplies needed by healthcare structures and other organisations.
Enel Cuore has donated a total of 23 million euro to help deal with the Covid-19 emergency. This donation will provide financial support throughout the country for projects that have already been identified and others that are soon to be selected, thanks to dialogue and continuous coordination with the Civil Protection agency, as well as national and regional institutions on the front line in the fight against the spread of the virus.
