Enel Cuore, the Enel Group’s charitable organisation is working alongside the Lazio region in supporting the organisations on the frontline in the health emergency caused by the spread of the COVID-19 virus.

In particular, resources have been earmarked to support the project to transform and equip a new COVID-19 Hospital inside the Policlinico Tor Vergata in Rome and the project at the Sant’Andrea Hospital in Rome to set up new wards for COVID-19 patients. Further resources have been allocated to help purchase technical equipment, ventilators and other medical material for the San Paolo Hospital in Civitavecchia.

Enel Cuore has allocated a total of 23 million euro in order to respond to the COVID-19 emergency. These funds will provide financial support throughout the country for projects that have already been identified, and others soon to be selected, thanks to dialogue and continuous coordination with the Civil Protection agency and the national and regional institutions on the frontline in the fight against the spread of the virus.
