Enel Cuore renews its efforts to help the main organisations on the frontline in the emergency caused by the spread of Covid-19.

The Enel Group’s charitable organisation is standing alongside the Campus Bio-Medico University in Rome by supporting the purchase of equipment for the Campus Covid Center, which also receives patients from other Italian regions. In particular, the donation will cover 18 Non-Invasive Ventilation (NIV) ventilators, which will be used for patients who have recovered from the intensive phase but still need assistance, as well as those with milder symptoms who need non-invasive ventilation.

Enel Cuore has allocated a total of 23 million euros to respond to the Covid-19 emergency by funding projects all over the country, including some that have already been identified and others soon to be selected thanks to ongoing dialogue and continuous coordination with the Civil Protection agency and the national and regional authorities. These include initiatives to help Third Sector associations that are particularly active in helping people affected by the social emergency caused by Covid-19.
