The SEN call: 15 social inclusion projects for schools

{{item.title}}

15 projects have received funding through Enel Cuore's support, thanks to the 2017 call for proposals for facilitating the inclusion of students with special educational needs (SEN) in schools.

The SEN workshops Officine BES: Best Experience School ("SEN Workshops: The Best Experience School") project is aimed at tackling the prejudice and exclusion that children with SEN are subjected to, by building their self-confidence and ability to withstand such difficulties, with the added potential benefit of reducing the risk of truancy or dropping out. The initiative was implemented at two schools in Turin, the Istituto Comprensivo Vian Parri and the Istituto Comprensivo Cairoli situated in the suburban districts of Vallette and Mirafiori, and included pedagogical support to teachers, as well as recreational-motor and expressive educational activities for the entire class.
