We believe that every young person has the right to a future filled with dignity and hope. Unfortunately, too often young people living in difficult situations find themselves without resources or prospects, at risk of becoming trapped in cycles of exclusion. For over 70 years, Borgo Ragazzi Don Bosco has been a home open to young people and families, especially those in vulnerable situations. Every day, it welcomes more than 1,000 people, offering not only a safe place, but also education, training, and support. Its work is divided into three main areas: the Vocational Training Center, the Oratory - Youth Center, and a wide network of services against marginalization and hardship, which include a family home for adolescents, a semi-residential community, a multifunctional day center, an intercultural community school, and services dedicated to unaccompanied foreign minors. This ongoing commitment brings Don Bosco's Salesian teaching to life: “Young people are the future.” Fast & Future – Reloaded, the project we support, expands and reinforces the experience of the previous Fast & Future project, which we carried out with Borgo Ragazzi Don Bosco to create new opportunities for young people in difficult situations. In addition to technical training and job placement assistance, new fundamental interventions are planned: psycho-pedagogical guidance, strengthening of language skills for young foreigners, psychological support, and active involvement of companies already during the training phase. Each path will be personalized to respond to the abilities and aptitudes of each young person, promoting a true process of empowerment. The young people involved will be able to specialize in highly sought-after professions, such as pizza maker, cook, waiter, bartender, hairdresser, and gardener, and start internships or work grants thanks to collaboration with local businesses. In addition, the new edition of the project will last two years to allow more young people to participate. With “Fast & Future – Reloaded,” we are building a bridge between the present and the future, transforming fragility into opportunity: because every young person deserves a path open before them and the chance to walk it with confidence.
