In the context of the Covid-19 pandemic, healthcare facilities have had to adapt quickly to meet the needs of the population. Rome's Campus Bio-Medico has undertaken an important project with the construction of the Campus Covid Center, an area isolated from the rest of the Polyclinic, designed to ensure the safety of patients and medical staff. The Campus Bio-Medico University of Rome is a reality of excellence in healthcare and medical research. With its University Polyclinic, it has distinguished itself during the health emergency for its ability to quickly activate facilities dedicated to the management of Covid-19 patients, thus responding in a concrete and timely manner to the needs of the territory. Thanks to our contribution, we supported the setting up of the Campus Covid Center, equipping it with the necessary equipment to accommodate 40 new beds: 9 dedicated to intensive care and 31 to ordinary inpatient care. The area, completely separate from the rest of the Polyclinic, has specifically dedicated staff and equipment, thus ensuring a safe and functional environment for treating patients. The construction of the Campus Covid Center has strengthened the capacity for care and offered an immediate response to the needs imposed by the health emergency, confirming the shared commitment to the health and safety of the community.
