The city of Milan faced extraordinary challenges during the Covid-19 pandemic, impacting families, workers and the local economic fabric. In response to these difficulties, the City of Milan established the Mutual Aid Fund, a key measure to offer support to those affected by the economic slowdown and the consequences of the restrictions necessary to contain the virus. Thanks to our support, the initiative has benefited not only hundreds of families and individuals in economic difficulty, but also numerous small businesses and economic operators who have suffered severe losses during the crisis. These interventions ensured concrete help for those in immediate need, while laying the foundation for the revitalization of production and business activities in the recovery phase. This project represents not only an act of solidarity, but also an investment in Milan's ability to rise again and continue to be an inclusive and dynamic city, capable of providing opportunities for all its inhabitants.
